Corey BakerCorey Baker is a self taught wood worker and has called the North Quabbin Region “home” for his entire life. He admits that he has always had an artistic side but didn’t start experimenting with wood creations until 2001. Corey’s creations include scroll saw art, beautiful and functional boxes in various styles and sizes and furniture. He finds his craft “very relaxing” and “loves the challenge of looking at a piece of wood and creating something beautiful from it". Corey uses recycled wood that he finds or buys locally harvested wood for his art. He works out of a small shop that he has built in his home but aspires to be successful in selling his work which will allow him to build a larger workshop. Corey loves nature. A great deal of his art is inspired by wildlife in the area. “I love a challenge. There isn’t a project that I won’t at least try to create. I find woodworking both rewarding and relaxing”. Contact:
